Dusk with Fujichrome Velvia film.
Digital cameras are great. No doubt about it, you can compose, take a picture, review and take another one almost instantly. But digital lacks a bit of soul in my opinion. Which is why for larger prints I still use a film camera, and Fujichrome Velvia slide film. The colors you get from Velvia are unique. Purples, pinks and deep blues that almost look black are commonplace. Digital may be here to stay, but film isn't dead yet! This was taken just before dusk in Searsport, Maine.
